The cause of sudden deaths?

Having loads of time on my hands means I have loads of time to think about “life, the universe and everything” (quoted phrase from writer Douglas Adams).  It has occured to me that Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) may be the cause od Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and “death by natural causes” in adults.  The only way of diagnosing of diagnosing GBS is by conducting nerve conduction tests on live patients.  Myelin development starts in the 3rd trimester and continues until a child is about 2 years old.  Perhaps babies die suddenly because the development is halted or destroyed by an undetected viral infection or vaccination?
